how do i download and print a pattern?

once you’re open the page of the pattern you want, click the size that you want to download. the pdf of the pattern will then open in a new tab. in the top right corner there are two icons, an arrow icon to download the pattern pdf onto your device and a printer icon to print the pattern directly. you can select the option you want!

what size paper is the pattern created for?

the patterns are created for US letter paper (8.5X11 inches)!

how can i print the pattern to scale on different paper sizes?

if you’re using another paper size, most likely A4 (8.3 x 11.7 inches), make sure your paper size of choice is selected and print. DO NOT scale the pattern in any way, your printer should maintain the original scale. you can check the scaling of the pattern once it’s printed by measuring the 1x1 inch square on the first page of the pattern with a ruler. if the square measures 1x1 inch on the paper, then the pattern has printed correctly!

what machines do you use?

my sewing machine is a kenmore 19233 computerized sewing machine (unfortunately kenmore sewing machines have been discontinued) and my serger is a singer finishing touch 14SH654!

how much seam allowance is included in the patterns?

i generally include a .5 inch seam allowance! it might be a bit more than professional patterns, but i wanted to leave a bit extra wiggle room for beginners :)
